@GoldieElaine I spent some time searching and reading about this, In Canada an employer can't force a person to use bio-metrics. There are laws, an employer can't mandate it. The employee has the right to a free and informed consent, it can refuse, just like it's illegal to force a vaccine for the same reasons. (That is why we won with the vaccines)

They can't pull out the pay check away from the person refusing either.

If the employee refuses to submit to bio metric authentication, employer is obligated to use another method of authentication.

I can't find any evidences that Microsoft is banning password and mandating biometrics authentication on Windows. Right now, they are working on a fear psyop to push people towards their biometrics authentication because according to them, they block too much passwords attacks on a daily basis.

Anyway tomorrow I'll send a warning that I am not going to consent to any biometric authentication in the future, that is my right, the law is clear. I'll do triple authentication if required but nothing biometric.
