@Brighteon @HealthRanger Mike, your argument that the "gateway" to Heaven is to be a good person, is nonsense. It is the age old tactic of the Devil himself. The moment Eve and Adam ate of the tree of good and evil they would surely die spiritually. You've fallen into the deceiver's trap and even state that Jesus was a regional ambassador and was created. In Genesis, God said, Let US make man in OUR image. In John it says, In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The doctrine of the Trinity is amazing. The better question for you is why did God demand perfect obedience, the 10 commandments and a blood sacrifice to atone for sins? The Old Testament points to Jesus Christ who fulfilled hundreds of prophecies perfectly. Man can never reach the perfect/good/obedience bar...we are ALL sinners. the Bible says, There is none righteous no not one. Jesus paid our penalty on the cross, the perfect, blameless, sinless Lamb of God. There is complete assurance to the true Christian of eternal security when you trust the Lord and believe. For God so loved the world that He gave HIs only begotten Son that whosoever believers in Him should not perish but have everlasting Life. John 3:16. Trusting in your "goodness" will get you no where, in fact, it will get you thrown out of the Garden of Eden.
Still praying for you.
John 3:36 says, "Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him." You cannot get to heaven by being a good person The Bible says that no one is good, that all have fallen short of the glory of God. The only way that you're going to make it to heaven is to repent, turn from your evil ways, and believe in the father. But it's not just believing in him, you have to have a relationship with our Lord and savior.
Mike, you have millions of followers lead them well. Please make sure that your word reflect the Bible otherwise you will lead people astray and I would not want to answer to God for that.
