If California attempts to secede from the union to avoid Trump deporting illegals, most of the geographical state of California will reject the secession and will break away from "California" to join the union under a new state, such as "Jefferson" or "New California." This would give patriots two more senate seats and congressional representation while the left-wing populated areas of California would LOSE their senate seats and lose congressional representation, obviously. If Newsom attempts this, expect things to get really kinetic really quickly. A similar process could occur with Oregon, Washington, Colorado or even Illinois, by the way. Democrats would end up ruling over a few collapsing cities while Republicans would govern the rest of the country. Read the "299 Days" book series by Tate to get an idea of how all this might go.
