THROUGH THE BLOOD
Derek Prince 1915-2003
“They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.” Revelation 12:11
“…we must use our personal testimony, saying, “Through the blood of Jesus, all my sins are forgiven. Through the blood of Jesus, I have been redeemed out of the hand of Satan.” That testimony, when we make it with our own lips, is like the hyssop. It transfers the power of the blood of Jesus from the realm of the potential
into our practical daily living.”
Psalm 27:5-6
For in the time of trouble
He shall hide me in His pavilion;
In the secret place of His tabernacle
He shall hide me;
He shall set me high upon a rock.
And now my head shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me;
Therefore I will offer sacrifices of joy in His tabernacle;
I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the Lord.

HALLOWEEN 101 - John Ramirez
“The Devil’s #1 holiday is Halloween…” “I sat in the Devil’s mind for 25 years. His mind is full of strategies of how to entrap and engage to kill to steal and to destroy…” “Halloween is an abomination to a Holy God.” “The Devil showed me the reason He likes when Christians celebrate Halloween is it brings 4 to 5 generations of curses into your family.” “The pumpkins bring demons into your house…” “You are bringing a curse into your Church by celebrating Halloween even if you call it something else.” “Putting on a costume changes your identity of who you are in Christ and opens yourself up to demonic attack.” “How do you celebrate these things and call yourself blessed?” “We are bringing the world into the Church.” “It’s time to repent from Halloween, it’s poison.”

A CALL TO FAST AND PRAY!
From sundown tonight 10/12/2024 to sundown tomorrow 10/13/2024 is the day of Atonement or Yom Kippur. This is a Highest Holy Day of repentance for the Israelites! This is a day that we Christians should also fast and pray! Please read the documents posted and take this to the Lord in Prayer and ask HIM is you should do the same.
10 specific promises from Isa 58 to those who fast in God's way.
(1) Light, (2) Health, (3) Righteousness, (4) Glory, (5) Answered Prayer, (6) Continual guidance, (7) Satisfaction, (8) Strength, (9) Work that endures,

Isaiah 58:6-12
6 “Is this not the fast that I have chosen: To loose the bonds of wickedness,
To undo the heavy burdens, To let the oppressed go free, And that you break every yoke? 7 Is it not to share your bread with the hungry, And that you bring to your house the poor who are cast out; When you see the naked, that you cover him,And not hide yourself from your own flesh? 8 Then your light shall break forth like the morning, Your healing shall spring forth speedily, And your righteousness shall go before you; The glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard.9 Then you shall call, and the Lord will answer; You shall cry, and He will say, ‘Here I am.’ “If you take away the yoke from your midst, The pointing of the finger, and speaking wickedness, 10 If you extend your soul to the hungryAnd satisfy the afflicted soul, Then your light shall dawn in the darkness,And your darkness shall be as
ADVICE FOR ELDERS
“Care for the flock that God has entrusted to you. Watch over it willingly, not grudgingly, not for what you will get out of it, but because you are eager to serve God.” 1 Peter 5:2
1 Peter 5:2
Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind;
A more “imperative” mood is involved in this “charge”, not advice….
sooo negative (filthy lucre) that modern “Christians” find it unsavory, and change it to their own shame…..all, of course, reflecting one’s love toward Christ…..
(feeding Gods flock sugar water)
BIBLICAL ELDERSHIP
Peter Said - 1 Peter 5:1-4
And now, a word to you who are elders in the churches. I, too, am an elder and a witness to the sufferings of Christ. And I, too, will share in his glory when he is revealed to the whole world. As a fellow elder, I appeal to you: Care for the flock that God has entrusted to you. Watch over it willingly, not grudgingly—not for what you will get out of it, but because you are eager to serve God. Don’t lord it over the people assigned to your care, but lead them by your own good example. And when the Great Shepherd appears, you will receive a crown of never-ending glory and honor.
YOU GOT NO RIGHT
Leonard Ravenhill 1907-1994
“You have no right to sin. If you have sin in your life, you've got something which is illegal in the sight of God; you're giving the devil a hand in your life.”
“Christianity is NOT a sinning-repenting religion! It's a victorious religion! There should be a place where you quit your sinning!”
“Partial obedience is disobedience!”

HUMAN RESPONSIBILITY
Leonard Ravenhill 1907-1994
“Let's face it: We are not living in a day of militant Christianity. The very suggestion throws many into a spiritual pout, for they believe the Lord did all the fighting. (Appalling philosophy!) They glibly tell me, "The battle has already been won at Calvary." Christ did win, but that does not eliminate human responsibility.”
@HymnRevival777
The concept is:
“Christians fight not FOR victory, but FROM victory”
Adrian Roger’s
Arminian theology shrugs at that, while Calvinist theology lays down
@HymnRevival777 From a societal point of view, one of the signs of a country in decline is the inability to understand the difference between "accepting responsibilty" and "having accountability." Accepting responsibility is a choice, while having accountability is assumed. Therefore, while we all have been assigned "accountability", we often do not accept the responsibility for it.
Fence: I don’t hold to either view. It’s another case of it not having to be one view or the other, they both are in play.
Thyme: I would tend to agree with your statement.
I appreciate both comments.
I truly believe we need to leave room for GOD to be GOD and not think we have it all figured out. In the case of Freewill vs Predestination, they both are in scripture.
SURRENDER
David Wilkerson 1931-2011
“If you are saved, the Holy Spirit has already been given to you. Now ask him to take over, surrender to him! You have to determine in your heart that you want him to lead and guide you. Moses, speaking of the latter days, said, But if from thence thou shalt seek the Lord thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul” Deuteronomy 4:29
@HymnRevival777 Not true! The Bible teaches that the Holy Spirit comes separate of accepting the Lord, confessing our faith and being Christian. The apostles, who were there with Jesus Christ, were saved and received the Holy Spirit at Pentecost which happened 40 days AFTER Jesus Christ died. Where the apostles not saved until then? (Acts 2:4)
Consider Acts 8
14 Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had RECEIVED (accepted Jesus Christ) the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John:
15 Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost:
16 (For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.)
17 Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost.
Note, though they had accepted Jesus Christ' message, only those who were baptized received the Holy Spirit. Peter and John had to lay hands on these believers BEFORE they could receive the Holy Spirit.
Just saying, it does not happen (always) when one accepts the message of the Word (Jesus Christ; John 1:1).
Sorry brother but the scripture says in Ephesians 1:13 "In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise," Romans 8:9 says "9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his." & John 3:16 says "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Please re-read Acts 10:42-48,Romans 8,John 3 to name a few. Your understanding of Acts 8:16 is incorrect because it's out of context. This is a special circumstance; by waiting for Peter and John to arrive, the Holy Spirit validates the faith of the Samaritans to the apostles, and validates to the Samaritans that they are joining the official church that Jesus originated. Chuck Smith has a good commentary on this also here https://www.blueletterbible.org/Comm/smith_chuck/c2000_Act/Act_007.cfm?a=1026016

www.blueletterbible.orgTHE UNKNOWN
Lester Sumrall 1913-1996
“Faith is an element of the unknown. If you are not willing to function in the unknown, or if you have to have security, then you will never know what faith is!”
@HymnRevival777
I don’t really like Lester’s take…
Hebrews 11 says faith involves “evidence” and “substance”…..the Holy Spirit produces faith (Romans 10:17), and trust is earned. A “blind leap” is exactly what faith is not. Eternal security is a Bible doctrine, because faith is assurance, not double minded
(unstable).
I believe he is referring to a deeper stronger faith where we actually get out of the boat like Peter did. The kind of faith we need when GOD takes us into deeper waters. I don’t see his quote as being contrary to Hebrews or Romans. Have you not had a time in your life where to took a leap of faith (not a blind leap) where you were not sure how it would work out (the unknown) but trusted that GOD had you? Many times we think in terms of A,B,C, but more times the answers are D (all of the above). So do I believe there are levels of faith, I do, it’s all through scripture. Be blessed today brother!
NOT CONTAMINATED
Gen. William Booth 1829-1912
"Many wicked men admire Purity. They look on it as being beautiful and desirable in others, although they regard it as being impossible to them. In their thoughtful moments, when the Spirit of God strives with them, when the recollections of the innocent days gone by crowd into their memories, and they see people who they know are clean and good, they hate themselves because of
their own impurity, although all the time refusing to submit to God, and to accept the Salvation that would make them pure.”
William Booth was the founder and first General of The Salvation Army. He saw tremendous need not being fulfilled by mainstream churches in Victorian England and felt a divine calling to serve and bear witness to the poor. Initially met with derision and skepticism, he never wavered in his vision which was best summed up by the quote, "...and this satisfying of the outer man with bread that perishes, we hope will lead on to the satisfying of the inner man with the bread that comes from heaven." Booth and his army sought to live a "practical Christianity“, and one of their more successful projects was the “Food for the Million” shops or, as they were to be more commonly called, soup kitchens.
@HymnRevival777 Men today are busting at the seams with ill-gotten money. Money corrupts and there is never too much for them.
Sure seems like it. The scriptures say it’s the love of money that is the root of all kinds of evil (1 Timothy 6:10). Money brings power, influence, and control. People want to be God instead of serving God (Genesis 3:5)
DECLARE THE WHOLE COUNSEL OF GOD
Duncan Campbell 1898-1972
“I must be true to my conscience and to my inner convictions and declare the whole counsel of God and take my stand on the solid ground of separation unto God.
Now the person who will take his stand on that ground will not be popular. He will not be popular with some preachers of today who declare that we must soft-pedal in order to capture and captivate. Here I would quote from the saintly Finney: "Away with your milk and water preaching of the love of Christ that has no holiness or moral discrimination
in it, away with preaching a Christ not crucified for sin." Such a collapse of moral conscience in this land could never have happened if the Puritan element in our preaching
had not, in great measure, fallen out.”
Duncan Campbell (13 February 1898 - 28 March 1972) was a Scottish Evangelist, who is best known for being a leader in the Lewis Awakening or Hebrides Revival, a mid-20th century religious revival in the Scottish Hebrides.

DECEPTION
Derek Prince 1915-2003
“The greatest single danger in this end time is not sickness, nor poverty, nor persecution. It is deception. If anybody says, "It could never happen to me," it has already happened to that person, because that person is saying something could never happen that Jesus said would happen. That is a sufficient indication that such a person is deceived.”
See Mat 24:5,11
@HymnRevival777 Like taking the jab and not realizing that it was the mark
I don’t think the jab was the mark. However it was some sort of prelude to it & another attempt at population control. It did give a preview of how easy it will be to get the masses to willingly take it.
DARKNESS SPREADS
Gen. William Booth 1829-1912
“See how wickedness spreads. Talk about a prairie fire it devours everything before it. Does Salvation keep pace with our ever-growing population? Make the calculation in your most favored Christian cities, and you will find we are terribly behind in the race.
Do we keep pace with the devils in energy and untiring labor? Do we go as fast as death? Oh, say no more! We'll close our ears to this cold, unfeeling, stony-hearted utterance of unbelief. LET US GO FASTER!”

JERUSALEM: THE BURDENSOME STONE
https://www.blogtalkradio.com/theremnantcall/2023/11/04/the-burdensome-stone-with-jamie-walden
@HymnRevival777 The discussion is good regarding the end times. However, neither man seems to realize that the scriptures quoted are out of sequence. For example, they both talk about Jesus' comment about 'when you see these events' (Matthew 24:33 & Luke 21:20) and assume that Jerusalem is about to fulfil these scriptures but ignore the verses right beforehand. In Matthew 24 these words come after the great tribulation in verse 29. In Luke these words appear after those Christians are rooted out from among families for a testimony in verse 12-16. Both events are prior to the destruction of Jerusalem.
These events have not occurred so Jerusalem will not be invaded yet. Yes, there is & will be war but Jerusalem will not fall until AFTER the previous verses. Unfortunately, neither men say this.
In the 44th minute they hit it out of the park when they quote Malachi 3:16 thru 4:3. So on target!
Thanks for your thoughts on this topic! There are so many different interpretations, views, opinions on this subject; just look at all the books, videos, websites, & conferences out there; it’s easy to see why people get confused. I appreciate that you don’t throw out the baby with the bath water! It sure seems like everyone has something wrong in their “theology” these days, even the smartest ones. Perhaps Isaiah 28:10-13 is the reason why. Anyway, however this actually plays out doesn’t change our job responsibilities of sharing the good news with everyone; overcoming by the blood of the lamb & the word of our testimony; and getting as many people to Jesus as quickly as possible! The signs are so obvious that we are close to our Lord’s return, so let us be found doing the work he instructed us to do before he returns! Be blessed brothers!
NO TRANSGRESSIONS
William Tyndale (1494-1536)
“For John Baptist went before Christ, and preached repentance; that is, he preached the law of God right, and brought the people into knowledge of themselves, and unto the fear of God, and then sent them unto Christ to be healed. For in Christ, and for his sake only, hath God promised to receive us unto mercy, to forgive us, and to give us power to resist sin. How shall God save thee, when thou knowest not thy damnation? How shall Christ deliver thee from sin, when thou wilt not knowledge thy sin? Now I pray thee how many thousands are there of them that say, ‘I believe that Christ was born of a virgin, that he died, that he rose again, and so forth, and thou canst not bring them in belief that they have any sin at all! How many are there of the same sort, which thou canst not make believe that a thousand things are sin, which God damneth for sin all the scripture throughout!”
I asked a wealthy client today,
Would you switch accounts with me?
He said, I don’t know.
I said, Well God switched accounts with me, KNOWING I was bankrupt!
It’s called “imputed” righteousness.
Christ could not have died UNLESS my account were upon him.
Case dismissed, said the Judge (when I appear before Him).
I understand what you are saying brother; but please explain how we can discount all of the conditional (if…then…) scriptures? Did He not say to be Holy as He is Holy? Did He not say that His sheep obey His commands and follow him? We cannot live like the devil and expect to claim HIS righteousness. Please show the scripture that states He could not die unless your account was on Him? He died for everyone but only those who accept Him as Lord and Saviour will be saved (John 3:16). He died for sinners so that they can be saved. Be blessed brother!
PERSONAL TRUST
E.M. Bounds 1835-1913
“Have faith in God," "Trust in the Lord" form the keynote and foundation of prayer. Primarily, it is not trust in the Word of God, but rather trust in the Person of God. For trust in the Person of God must precede trust in the Word of God. "Ye believe in God, believe also in Me," is the demand our Lord makes on the personal trust of His disciples.
@HymnRevival777
That might be the craziest quote I’ve ever seen from EM Bounds…..
The word became flesh (they are virtually synonymous), especially in light of…..
Psalms 138:2
I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.
@HymnRevival777 Spot on F'man...The last sentence of that verse is so key as to the importance of having the true, unaltered Word of God in your hands aka the King James Bible!
Agreed, a very interesting and crazy quote. Here is a link to the entire passage where the quote appears. https://biblehub.com/library/bounds/the_necessity_of_prayer/iii_prayer_and_trust.htm
BUMPER STICKERS
Leonard Ravenhill 1907-1994
“You see some bumper stickers "Christians Aren't Perfect, Just forgiven” they say “Christians are not sinless, they just sin less.” Well, I got news for you; if you're a Christian, you don't sin! You've got victory over sin! The Lord Jesus Christ came to purify us unto holiness and nothing but purity will satisfy Him!”
Actually, Christians are called to be perfect. That's biblical (see below).
"Be you therefore perfect, as also your heavenly Father is perfect.
[Matthew 5:48]
@Charley9 And what do you think Purity means?
@HymnRevival777 Ok. I re-read the quote again and edited my previous post. However, I will add that purity, like all virtues, is a grace from God. One must pray in order to receive graces from God, as one cannot presume to have graces necessary for salvation. That is called presumption and is sinful.

Yes, we Christians are called to practice righteousness (see 1 John 3:7) and are to be Holy, Pure and Perfect in our walk. If you personally believe you have achieved that level I’m concerned for you Charley9!
Paul said that he had not yet obtained perfection but had made it his goal: “I don’t mean to say that I have already achieved these things or that I have already reached perfection. But I press on to possess that perfection for which Christ Jesus first possessed me” (Philippians 3:12, NLT). Paul knew that perfection for believers would only be realized in the life to come (verses 13–21).
I’m not sure why you have such a problem with Mr. Ravenhill’s quote or feel it requires correction? There is nothing wrong with it.
@HymnRevival777 Leonard Ravenhill appears to have been a pentecostal or Calvinist, both of which has serious theological problems with free will and the necessity of works for salvation. A quote from the same epistle to the Philippians you quoted above refutes Calvinism's core belief in predestination:
"Wherefore, my dearly beloved, (as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but much more now in my absence,) with fear and trembling work out your salvation."
[Philippians 2:12]
And of course, the Book of James (which Luther, the father of all Protestants, wanted to discard) states:
"Do you see that by works a man is justified; and not by faith only?"
[James 2:24]
COUNTERFEIT PEACE
Charles Spurgeon 1835-1892
“If you are at peace today through a belief that you are righteous in yourself, you are not at peace with God. If you are wrapping yourself up in your own righteousness and saying, “I am as good as other people, I have kept God’s law, and have no need for mercy,” you are not at peace with God. You are treasuring up in your impenitent heart wrath against the day of wrath; and you will as surely be lost if you trust to your good works, as if you had trusted to your sins. There is a clean path to hell as well as a dirty one. There is as sure a road to perdition along the highway of morality, as down the slough of vice. Take heed that you build on nothing else but Christ; for if you do, your house will tumble about your ears, when most you need it’s protection.”
@HymnRevival777
Calvinism vs Arminianism
I can’t determine which you espouse?
I’m neither…..
I was predestination not to be Calvinist,
And I reject Arminianism by my own free will
It's actually simple, it's all of the above. They are both in play. I struggled with this for a time and it was a trial towards my faith. I decided to forget about the issue for a time and the HS worked it out so it was not an issue anymore. There are scriptures that support both views, but I believe the errors come when we are too dogmatic towards one view. Leave room for God to be God. You can say we are predestined for free will. If someone asks me if I believe in predestination or free will my answer is Yes!
