Searched online for a local place neighbor recommended for a bale or two of straw for my garden, named American Farms in CG Az, and found a plethora of articles (article and end of rant in comments)about recently Colorado River canal water being cutoff for much of our county's farms -- climate change, water shortage, people throwing in the towel, etc.
