CFI is a supplier of not only fertilizer but also DEF (diesel exhaust fluid) for the state of Louisiana. DEF is required for any diesel motor made after 2011. Without DEF the motor literally will not crank. Short supply will affect farming (tractors etc), trucking (medical supplies getting to hospitals, food to grocery stores, gas to the gas stations etc) and construction companies (bull dozers, cranes, etc).
Roughly 90% of firetruck and ambulances have diesel motors and thus could be dependent on DEF to operate
