Installed Qortal today as a node. Then spent two hours attempting to figure out how to mint qorts. Sent a message asking how to find a sponsor or founder but had less than 4 qorts in my wallet so my message will take a long time to be sent. There was an issue installing the repository on my windows laptop. I’m not sure if the wallet functions. I did have up to 16 connections to my node for less than 3 min.
One issue besides not being able to mint is the so called transparency. I typed in “minter” hoping to find info but instead I discovered info about “minters” trading activities. The buys when he bought how much was bought and the address of both buyer and seller.
That’s not private.
The minting is set up as a pyramid. The mint for the sponsor until you reach level one then you can mint for yourself. At level five the you can sponsor other minters. That’s how Amway was setup. LOL
