Missouri State Representative IAN MACKEY District 087 Democrat "NEEDS TO GO HOME." If you are in his district understand he does not care that other states stole the 2020 presidential election. I personally spoke with him yesterday at the capital. He also told me that if Missouri does not have a election problem. Therefore he saw no need to prevent loopholes in the system that encourage fraud (i.e. lack of voter i.d.).
This man is very unprofessional too in that he told me he was "sorry" Biden had won and that I needed to get over it.

What are you doing in your neighborhood to come together? I live in a red state in a red county and it's "like pulling rotten teeth with long roots" to get locals to trust one another. It seems all the old timers have given up and the new arrivals came to get away from the city and everyone else. I have partnered with a local church and the most interest people are the wife's and ladies of the community. How about you???

We need to start building the bridges that will unite us once again. If you have the means, host a big BBQ. Make lots of salads, chips, sodas, etc. and post notices a couple weeks in advance. Non descriptive, something like: ‘Bring a chair and have burgers and hot dogs on us!’ Anything you can think of to start people gathering, just to ‘chat.’ Avoid talking politics. Ask how people are doing. Talk about kids and grandkids, sports, etc, the community as a whole.

Stock up now for it and host the gathering in a couple months. If people are enjoying it, suggest a repeat with pot luck. The more we communicate the more we learn what we have in common. The more we will begin to cooperate.
Start a community garden. A community clean up project. Paint someone’s fence who can’t afford to do it themselves. Trim an elderly persons hedge. Shovel their sidewalk in the winter. Sit on your front porch and offer a glass of lemonade to passers by.
I like your idea and I hope in your community it's easy like that. Unfortunately that's not the reality here... things are much more complicated. One man's opinion is another's criticism. Hopefully the women can bring us together. The men are too busy and proud to be told what needs to be done.
