A Doggie Dental Warning
Tennis balls pose a risk to your dog’s overall health: dental wear and tear. That green fuzz might seem soft, but tennis balls are designed to withstand tennis courts and rackets. Veterinary dental specialists warn that the fuzz is actually very abrasive, and accumulated dirt and sand increases the abrasive quality of the ball. As your dog chomps on a tennis ball, the fuzz acts like sandpaper, gradually wearing down her teeth in a process called “blunting.” This can eventually lead to dental problems such as exposed tooth pulp and difficulty chewing. Some experts will tell you that your dog can still safely play with tennis balls as long as they don’t focus on chewing on the ball, but I’m here to tell you that’s NOT TRUE! Millie has played fetch with tennis balls all of her five years, and she never just wanted to just “chew on the ball” outside of her fetch activity. She did chew on the ball as she was bringing it back for us to throw again. As you can see in the recent picture, if you zoom in, she has exposed pulp from playing tennis ball fetch! She must have a root canal (they can’t pull it since the affected tooth supplies structural foundation for her lower jaw.) she also has a tooth on top that will probably need the same treatment, along with a couple of others that may need to be pulled. And she’s ONLY 5 YEARS OLD! So there’s really NO SAFE WAY to play with tennis balls. Use the rubber balls instead, like the ones pictured!

WE ARE NOT UNDER THE LAW!
Gal 3:2-14 I want to learn only one thing from you: Did you receive the Spirit by doing the actions of the Law or by believing what you heard? Are you so foolish? Having started out with the Spirit, are you now ending up with the flesh? Did you suffer so much for nothing? (If it really was for nothing!) Does God supply you with the Spirit and work miracles among you because you do the actions of the Law or because you believe what you heard? In the same way, Abraham "believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness." You see, then, that those who have faith are Abraham's real descendants. Because the Scripture saw ahead of time that God would justify the gentiles by faith, it announced the gospel to Abraham beforehand when it said, "Through you all nations will be blessed." Therefore, those who believe are blessed together with Abraham, the one who believed. Certainly all who depend on the actions of the Law are under a curse. For it is written, "A curse on everyone who does not obey everything that is written in the Book of the Law!" Now it is obvious that no one is justified in the sight of God by the Law, because "The righteous will live by faith." But the Law has nothing to do with faith. Instead, "The person who keeps the commandments will have life in them." The Messiah redeemed us from the curse of the Law by becoming a curse for us. For it is written, "A curse on everyone who is hung on a tree!" … and there’s more that won’t fit!

Let us beg the Lord to glorify His Name now, even through the struggle and anti-Semitism. And let us not be ashamed, especially now, of standing up for Israel and for the God of Israel. And I also pray that all Israel will realize that only the Lord can save them.
