Greetings Israelites!
It BEHOOVES me to show, through Scripture, context, science, and common sense, that unclean animals were never meant for sacrifices or consumption.

Scripture doesn’t support eating what God calls "abominable" (Lev. 11). Passages often misinterpreted—like Peter’s vision in Acts—aren’t about food but about God cleansing men, specifically lost Israelites scattered among the nations, now redeemed by Jesus Christ. The "uncircumcision" (lost Israelites) were added back to the fold, not adding unclean animals to the menu!

Similarly, Romans 14 and 1 Timothy 4 are about respecting differing practices, like vegetarianism versus eating meat, NOT endorsing unclean food. Paul’s teachings consistently emphasize context, focusing on meats sacrificed to idols and the need for discernment, not overturning God’s dietary laws.

The New Covenant doesn’t abolish the laws; it writes them on our hearts (Jer. 31). Jesus, at the Last Supper, upheld Passover traditions without that baked Ham the churches always gorge on. Paul reinforces this in 2 Corinthians 6, urging separation from unclean things. God’s standard remains.

Modern food practices—GMO, inhumane slaughter, and pagan handling—should prompt us to pray over our food, not justify eating what’s prohibited. Unclean animals, like pork, dog, horses, roadkill, and POOP, remain unsuitable, no matter how they’re prepared or prayed over.
