For my part, life has meant that for many years I have had very little contact with the news for fear unless I find it. For ME during fear announcements I have a sudden and very strong reaction to say NO verbally as if I was speaking directly to the situation. And I even say that if some people want to experience that, it's not for me. I choose whatever makes my life more enjoyable.
