I'm 79 and this in not news to me. All of the idiots run around these days fearing the US is turning into a socialist nation. We've been socialist for over 60 years and on the verge of communism. What do you call food stamps, social security, student meals for all grade schools and welfare in every state? For 6000 years we have debated whether monarchy, parliamentary, democracy, republican, fascist, socialist or communism was the best form of government. Answer: none of the above. They all devolve into totalitarianism. The only government that will ever last to infinity is a benevolent dictatorship and His name is Jesus Christ (Yahushua).

This is why so many lazy people in Maine keep voting the old prune and Susan Collins into office. The almighty Dole. It's disgusting. Of course, I'll keep the money, but socialism is socialism. Still, many elderly people in Maine will be able to use the money to offset gas and other bills. The dems get people into a tight place and then send them money. That's how they win elections.
