The eclipse has not yet arrived in Texas, and so far, a CERN portal to an alternate universe has not opened up, and I don't see any flying winged serpents descending from the sky (lol) wielding magical tridents. I haven't heard any reports of mass casualties, or hospitals filling up, or air-dropped bioweapons or anything. Pretty quiet, actually, so far... which is a GOOD thing. It's only the shadow of the moon, after all... what's with all the government panic? There is some really bad weather, however, that's causing at least one eclipse event to be canceled: "In preparation for potential hail, strong winds and isolated tornado risks on Monday, a festival based in Burnet County has decided to cancel." Sure would suck to be wearing your eclipse glasses and then get taken out by a tornado!
