Had a really hilarious thought as I was recording my podcast tonight. As AI causes the cost of cognition to approach zero, I was realizing that the "cognition" of most federal workers is already zero anyway, since they barely show up for work, and even when they do, they hardly work. Thus, you could replace most federal workers with NOBODY and it would be an improvement over the current situation. If you actually wanted things to get done, you would simply replace "federal workers" (an oxymoron) with AI cognition and achieve actual cognitive work for about 1/1000th the price of entitled, lazy, arrogant human federal workers. Elon already knows all this, as it's clearly the plan now under way: Fire the humans in the bureaucracy and replace them with AI. In the federal government, I 100% support this plan because 92% of federal workers are America-hating Democrats to begin with, and AI will do a far better job, getting more done in one hour than most of these "workers" achieve in an entire month.
