Unfortunately it seems the left has used their massive resources to take over DuckDuckgo. Now when you do a search, it's just like using Google. All of the top results are from CNN, MSNBC, The New York Times, USA Today, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera. What a shame.
I am sorry, I just now found your comment. I found this out first hand while doing a search. All of the top articles for the search I was doing were from USA Today and CNN, etcetera,etcetera.
