federal laws currently governing firearms are listed in the US Code in Title 18 Chapter 44. this chapter is divided into sections (921-931) governing unlawful acts, licensing, and penalties.
The proposed gun control bill seeks to amend the current gun control laws by adding a whole new section (932)

If the blue states and cities can have sanctuary for illegals the red states can have gun sanctuary and believe me we will. Get out of demo controlled areas now!

Provision is already there 18 USC 927
No provision of this chapter shall be construed as indicating an intent on the part of the Congress to occupy the field in which such provision operates to the exclusion of the law of any State on the same subject matter, unless there is a direct and positive conflict between such provision and the law of the State so that the two cannot be reconciled or consistently stand together.

English please. Read that 3 times and don’t get it. Laws should not be written this way. Does the state have the right to ignore federal law? Plenty of states legalized marijuana against federal law. Sanctuary cities and states? Please explain.
