These leftist are either so ignorant or want to appear ignorant. They either don't know that Lincoln was a republican or don't want to admit he was. Shoot, anyone who ever used their life to accomplish anything worthwhile seems to be out of favor with these idiots so my guess is that at least *someone* in that crowd must be old enough to remember "honest Abe" and that was the extent of their knowledge. Geez, what do you call someone who follows an idiot? 
@SallySilvershoes It’s more that leftists don’t care about truth or morals. However, one thing they do have on rightists is a more realistic view of things like power dynamics. Rightists rely on abstract principles of how societies ought to function, but leftists have a much better understanding of who makes what decisions where, and how to compel them to make the choices that leftists would prefer. It’s how they got so many political victories lately.
