@ZGoldenReport, I have noticed in poor rural areas, the government has, in most cases, made people needy and dependent on the government. The government has worked hard to make these people want the lifestyles that they see on t.v. and the internet and read about - lots of clothes, partying all the time, drugs, money, sex. People get taken over by greed, become unhappy with their rural lifestyles and move into the bigger areas. I'd live in a rural area in a heartbeat if gov't is not there!

@ZGoldenReport I live in the Appalachian mountains and there are an awful lot of self-sufficient people out here that will do just fine if it all goes down.
