Four months of brake repairs on a 1997 Ford E350. Three sets of defective and otherwise insufficient parts. Many trips to the mechanic. Mechanic said Ford neglected to put hole in one set of brake shoes, the other set -- the adjuster screw didn't turn properly on the shoe, and a set of springs and such had an unsatisfactory spring plus the adjuster lever was thinner than the other, and perhaps another issue or two with the parts. Still issue(s). Had a note to self from a few years ago that I had predicted Ford would stop supplying (appropriate) parts. Anyone else experiencing similar with auto parts -- Ford or otherwise? (This is not about it being old, or the parts simply wouldn't be available... This is about the manufacturer CHANGING the part to make it no longer fit the use, yet selling it with the same part number as before, and things like that.)
