Strange day. Cold but the sun was out so we decided to take a trip to Troy, a city that's a 3o minutes away and check out a restaurant called the Hawt plate. Actually turned out to be an upgrade place for Troy which was rocked in the Covid/Biden era.
We go in, promptly get seated and the Waitress asks if I'm Dave Mackenzie. as we are having lunch 3 other people I don't know dropped by to say hello and when we were leaving I hear, Hey Dave" I knew that person.
It's not like I'm famous but I've worked hard over the last 5 years to create funding for a senior meal site and it's starting to pay off in providing better meals for our seniors in a totally different city.
Strange post.
The promise of free Trade..........
In a speech in 2000, Clinton reiterated his hopes:
For the first time, our companies will be able to sell and distribute products in China made by workers here in America without being forced to relocate manufacturing to China, sell through the Chinese government, or transfer valuable technology—for the first time.
1941-1945 Soemu Toyota, A Japanese Admiral who oversaw the deaths of thousands of American military servicemen.
30 years latter 300,000 Americans buy a vehicle with his name proudly stamped on the ass end of it.

. Lieutenant F.E. Fleck, Jr., U.S.N., was commanding officer of the Henley at the time the air raid commenced. The manner in which he got the ship underway and fought the enemy during the sortie of the Henley is worthy of special commendation. The seamanlike manner in which he picked up his Captain and Executive Officer at sea.
So a ship without its Captain and XO ends up making the 1st American kill of Peral Harbor When Lt Fleck took the ship out and engaged the enemy.
I'd rather drive a Fleck.
Do you prefer Monthly or quarterly dividends?
Just remember before Zero Tariffs small factories along with those they employed had value.
Once Zero Tariffs were put in place the middle class worker was replaced at a fourth of the cost.
Hell I was told by a large corporation that I could keep my contract if I cut the price by 90%.
Zero Tariffs in turn made my company valueless.
Actually we lost generations of trained factory employees with special skills that allowed us to out produce any country in the world.
The Tariffs are back and the globalists need a diaper change!
It's a beautiful day.
This could happen anywhere, anytime.
Thankfully we got a hold of our son.
What's it like living across the state line of a sanitary city that has bankrupted itself?
Almost everyday you'll find stories like this.

www.krem.comToday's word is "Compartmentalization", Simple self defining word.
Red buttons in this box, Blue buttons in that box.
These people preform this function, those people preform that function.
What about information? In government it happens all the time. who has the right to get information or "The Need to Know" National security you know.
What about the Industrial Media complex? Reported, Dozen eggs on the east coast side of the country is $3.00 so inflation is no longer on the table even thou it's still $10 on the North coast side.
On the economic front (one of my favorites) there are 12 Federal Reserve regions. Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Cleveland, Richmond, Atlanta, Chicago, St. Louis, Minneapolis, Kansas City, Dallas and San Francisco. Every quarter they each report the economic condition of their region. The media picks one of the reports that fit their narrative and reports it "page one" like the whole country is doing either wonderful or very poor.
so you hear employment is up and inflation is down, walk outside with homeless on the street and $15 chickens in the grocery store.
Well it's just YOUR AREA, everyone else is doing awesome.
Google something. They can tell where you are Googling from, ever think Red states and Blue states receive different information? If you do, you understand the evil side of "Compartmentalization"
TARIFF FREE IMPORTS
How many Americans lose their job due to tariff free imports. Well roughly i job per container. Big nothing perhaps but there are 11 million containers processed into the US each year. over the last 30 years accounts for nearly the entire working force of America becoming displaced at least once over each decade.
nothing in this world is free and many times the cost of free is too damn high.
TRUMP CLAIMS 20 PERCENT TARIFFS WON'T CAUSE HIGHER PRICES.
I disagree, Twenty cents on the dollar fee is an increase in the cost to deliver a product no matter who pays it, it will get passed onto the retail buyer.
FACTORY AND MANUFACTURING WILL FLOCK TO THE USA TO PRODUCE US MADE GOODS AND SERVICES.
Okay I date back to the 70's and the development of the merit, perk based labor culture. The only near rival came from the Vietnamese worker. Great labor culture but we out numbered them.
During the 80's and 90's labor regulations wiped out the merit, perk based systems.
So yeah, Asia could move production to the USA but their leadership culture is to strip the workforce of free will and turning them into mind numb Automatons. Again they outproduced us because of far greater numbers of workers.
Sure you can move a factory in a short time but rebuilding the culture of leadership and employee relationships take decades.
Don't look at me, I'm too damn old to care.
Home economics. It's not only about taxes, cooking and child care but what about self directed financial planning?
The concept of getting away from spending all the money you earn to only spending the money your money earns.
But we can't have that, people would become less dependent on social handouts, more independent one their own abilities. In turn would become less likely to buy into political bullchit.
Have a great saint Patty's Monday, the day we banish the snakes from government...lol
Weather Wars?
Anyone that knows me, knows I'm really into elderly food security. I'm talking about seniors who put in their decades of work only to discover social security means living at or under the poverty level, discovering 20 years latter cola's don't even begin to keep up with inflation.
Excuse them for living into their 80'S and beyond.
Well DOGE has come after the food bank and yes I'm sure there is waste in the system because the food bank doesn't use any income test.
Our little community senior lunch is pretty much at the end of the food bank's supply chain and for years they have shifted extra food supplies to our freezers. With inflation the way it is people have loaded up their pick up trucks at the food banks overloading the system.
Doge comes in and now the food bank faces defunding. That's the elderly's supplement to our one meal a week. I'm looking at an another $60,000 a year to go 7 days a week or just ask them to suck it up.
Elon is a smart boy, I'm sure he can fix the food bank without starving the elderly.
If a tree falls in a busy children's play yard and CNN doesn't report it, it never happened.
That's where we've been over the last 30 years in this country.
Clinton sold out the factory worker, Bush the textile worker, Obama the manufactory worker and little to nothing about millions of lost jobs. Like it never happened
Now it's the state and federal workers and nearly every day, nearly every newscast starts off with DOGE/Trumps federal job cuts followed with wild pontifications of how it will lead to WWIII and the end of the world as we know it.
The truth is this country runs on fraud, waste and abuse. Any rollback will be met with silly crying lazy left wing liberals because that's their bread and butter.
Their only hope is to make life hard for you. price you out of the goods and services until your only hope is to support them and return to the system of waste fraud and abuse.
It won't be easy but just say NO, we are tried of your lies
I'm giving Musk his next task.
Are EV's cleaner than gas driven vehicles?
Audit that.
OMG! The Industrial Media Complex is flipping out!
Look, I've watched the working middle class get screwed over since the mid 70's by "White House" policy. Not so easy to kill, were we?
Carter's attacks on non skilled workers and the media called them "Sweat shops" Not a single issue with Regan's EPA or national power grid, It's good for the environment. Daddy Bush's Disabilities Act dam near put me out of business right from the start. Clinton's favored nation, free trade China had customers (of mine) running to China to save a buck. Baby Bush's sell out of the textile industry put my wife out of business along with hundreds of thousands of workers.
Obama's new banking system tracks every penny you earn or spend. A huge wake up call to me and by 2010 I did nothing but prepare for it to get worse which nobody understood until Biden.
I always said, "It's going to hurt once somebody starts to reverse all the lies" so they louder the left screams the more hope I have for power being restored to the great working class American people.
In the 1990's I opened my business. Before that I WAS hired to restructure bankrupt businesses into profitable a company where they would be sold on the open market making the venture capitalist a nice return on their investment. Great line of work but 3- 5 year contracts gets old after a while and it became time to build something of my own.
30 plus years of operating a business gives one a unique perspective on the employer/employee relationship at a time when the 50 employees and under accounted for the largest employer base in the country.
Small business by it's nature is forced to operate as a merit based organization because you're only as good as your employees and capitalism quickly rejects failure.
The dismantling of the merit based system began with minimum wage laws and continued with trade agreements until we became dependent on foreign labor that operated without labor laws.
Today the largest labor force is state and federal employment which creates zero products to purchase and here comes the trade wars.
Will you survive it?
I hope Trump spends his first 10 seconds as the president securing California against some sort of uprising.
Queen Kamala's smug kackle, don't give a damn about the country, her past connections to California power broker Willie Brown, the other Brown family owns most the states mineral rights.
Commander in Chief Biden who spent 4 years of robing the country and taking money from China. Is that the actions of a man who thinks there is a future after his time in office?
Then there is Pelosi, What a legacy to leave her family.
Cesar thought it was just another day in the Senate until Brutus stabbed him in the back.
All eyes will be on DC, While the Dyslexia Newsom who has been propped into power every step of the way by "Whom? I'd guess Standford University, founded by his ancestors.
I'm not one for conspiracy theories, More like something don't smell right in the fish market.
After Vietnam it seemed we settled down to a couple major disasters each year. Natural, man caused or economic. The disaster count slowly inched up over the years in a way which was hard to notice until 2020 and all of a sudden it's gone from a disaster a week to one a day.
Now I don't know about the other frogs in this pot but I'm getting out!
If you think about it, Certain types of leadership depend on disasters to keep the masses dependent on the leader for solutions. Of course real solutions only allow the masses to think for themselves. So what we got here is a real circle loop error.
God Bless Trump but 4 years won't fix the fifty years that got us to this point.
