Whose Better in Education
The better Old School Progressives (not extreme New Left) or Strict Conservatives? I'm not talking about morality but process.
For Private Charter Schools for people with lots of money Strict Conservatives have an edge.
But with a huge American Population things are different. I don't agree that the Constitution is outdated. But Medieval Education Model is primarily outdated in our Modern Society. Just like the Older Progressives like John Dewey held . And if I might add that it is only viable in certain Private school or Special Public School Program settings. Being an expert in all 7 Liberal Arts is not sustainable in many instances with a huge populace.
The Older Progressives were concerned about people needing a job. We all know incredible tradesman they are not concerned about calculus, perfect grammar or science spending countless hours sometimes on even a small amount of problems. They want to feed themselves and their families. They want a job, period.
I recently heard a top Professor at an elite Christian College state that so many students have perfect form in their writing but very little substance.
This again proves my point as I wrote early on Brighteon Social that the average life long learner like those here that the typical straight A student is simply no match in comparison.
If we could mix the Conservative Morality but not over do it with the Progressive Practicality than we got a great combination. And many Older Progressives were for sustaining the unity of the Family.
For example I used Medicaid for my neck and back for only a brief time. I was extremely grateful for it and treated it like my own money. And I would have been upset if the clinic had crazy rates because of it. But thankfully they did not gouge the system.
And Medicare and Social Security are Older Progressive programs. Would strict Conservatives have implemented these two monumental programs for our elderly? The problem is a moral problem and abuse of such vital services especially by the Medical community. Not the programs themselves.
