Total deaths in 2020 (as of November) for all types of mortality causes totaled 2.5 million, whereas, in 2018 and 2019, they were 2.8 million and 2.9 million respectively. There is no massive spike that had happened and there is no reason to shut down the economy.
@claypail Understood. Difficult to believe anything the CDC (a vaccine company) says. Nevertheless, everything they say is based on driving while looking in the rear-view-mirror. Fewer people have the flu, but many have died from Covid. I submit that, without the changes that have been implemented (masks, working from home, etc.) the death rate would be much higher, because of the "typical" flu deaths, plus additional covid deaths. I have never suggested or supported shutting down the economy.

@GansettGal Oh yeah, wrote it down the first time we heard it. The concern is, of course, that they can block the ip address as easily, in fact more easily, than they can take down the domain name. If Mike mirrors everything from Natural News on a separate server (with a lot of bandwidth), running it through a VPN so they cannot find the server (and thus take down that connection) and hosts it with TOR as a .onion address, then, and only then, will it remain up if the criminals (communists) win.

@varangpower Look at the Motorola FHSS (Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum) radios. Spendy, but worth it for two-way. Much harder to intercept, decode, and target. Your tribe should have these as a backup and never, EVER use open frequencies (ham, MURS or GMRS bands) when under attack, or if an attack is imminent.

So, voice quality is quite good, considering we do not have great internet out here in the woods... Internet comes through about four wireless hops before it gets to the computer, then through the VPN, but still very good. We have been promised fiber optic (for years, now) and may get it next year, and assume will be even better. It's definitely better than GV, and when I run it without the VPN, it's perfect. @huiguang
