@HealthRanger @DocLisa when you are struck in the head with a blunt object hard, (any mammal including humans), will feel pain as your brain is suddenly shocked. Your nervous system transmits those unexpected electrical nerve signal currents through the spine that will affect the whole body, That is what is causing the erratic reflexes. Eventually the heart stops beating correctly, blood circulation stops to all the vital organs and you die. I would think that is temporary torture until you die.
