’Twas the night before Trumpmas, and all ‘round the states,
Not a fact-checker stirring, just court filing dates.
The stockings were hung at Mar-a-Lago with flair,
In hopes that St. Elon soon would be there.
The base was all nestled, still MAGA in red,
While visions of Twitter bans danced in their head.
And Melania in Gucci, with Trump in his cap,
Had just settled down for a post-indictment nap.
When out on the lawn there arose such a brawl,
He sprang from the bed yelling, “Who built that wall?!”
Away to the window he flew like a flash,
Threw open the shutters and blamed Hunter for cash.
The moon on the lawn of his Florida scene,
Gave a luster of lawsuits on everything mean.
When what to his wondering eyes should appear,
But a Tesla sleigh—and Elon in high gear.
With a doge-powered engine and eight crypto bros,
He came speeding in yelling, “To Mars we must go!”
More rapid than SpaceX his coursers they came,
And he whistled and tweeted and called them by name:
“Now, PayPal! Now, Neuralink! Starlink and FTX!
On, Bitcoin! On, Tesla stock! On, Twitter re-checks!
To the edge of the swamp! To the Capitol Hall!
Now dash away! Dash away! Fact-check them all!”
As lawsuits before the grand juries fly,
When they meet with resistance, they rise to the sky—
So up to the rooftop the crypto crew flew,
With memes full of freedom and Musk stickers too.
And then, in a twinkling, Trump heard on the roof
The ranting and raving of Elon’s weird truth.
As he turned back around and was tying his tie,
Down the chimney came Musk with a techie-esque sigh.
He was dressed in a hoodie, all black like the void,
His boots smelled like Mars dust, his ego employed.
A bundle of gadgets he had flung on his back,
And he looked like a coder mid-hostile tech stack.
His eyes—how they darted! His tweets were so wild!
His plans for AI had regulators riled.
His lips barely moved, yet the stocks took a dive,
While Trump yelled, “Elon, how’s Truth Social survive?”
Then Elon spoke not a word, just stared at the feed,
Checked SpaceX and Doge, and approved of the speed.
Then laying a finger on Trump’s golden hair,
He said, “You should run… from that Georgia affair.”
He sprang to his sleigh with a neural-click click,
And away they both flew before charges could stick.
But I heard them exclaim as they soared past the dome:
“Happy Trumpmas to all, and let chaos roam.
