Man who loves his God, his Lord Jesus, his wife, children and grandchildren, his neighbor and his great country with its Constitution and Bill of Rights.
I was sad when checking out at a favorite local big box store. We paid in cash and I gave the exact change of $0.73: two quarters, two nickels, one dime and three pennies. The cashier tried counting the change in his hand twice, shrugged and said, "Okay." It was obvious that he was unable to add the change.
Our schools and teachers need to do better.
@whozis Any parent worth their salt would not send their children to public school which is, at best, just adult day-care while the parent works and, at worst, a detention center where young minds are trained in government propaganda.
@whozis I have found that even private and parochial (religious) schools are not much different than public schools in terms of their agenda. Homeschooling is really the only option these days if the children have any chance at a good education. At least the parent can avoid the government propaganda that is so common in public/private school system which is more than half the battle when it comes to raising morally upright, good citizens.
@Charley9 -- I agree, that's why I said that they need to be carefully vetted. I have read that most religious and private schools parrot the public school curriculum and agenda. Homeschooling is the best option and I have advocated for it for many years.
