Those that are convinced are in no need of convincing.
How long will I stand here shaking this jar of oil and water to achieve a harmonious blend. Now that my arms have grown weary and my mind frustrated, I sit and shake the immiscible instead.
I came in peace, but went in pieces.
Seeing the futility, I stop the effort and allow the separation to be just as it is.
