Some time back, the former howling banshee for the UFC, Joe Rogan, "interviewed" the South African wannabe oligarch Elon Musk.

Now, we, the public, are supposed to believe that Musk is some sort of engineering and business genius. During the interview, Musk was peddling a bullet-proof pickup truck. Exactly who needs a bullet-proof pickup truck in the civilian market was never addressed. Musk claimed that tests had been done. But only one was public, wherein the vehicle could not be penetrated with "nine mill" (Musk's attempt at street slang) or a shotgun. Idiot Rogan then asks him about a 720 grain arrow from a compound bow, which has nothing whatsoever to do with being "bullet proof".

Why did Rogan not ask Musk basic questions? Such as, what distance and what section of the pickup was shot at by a 9mm caliber? Was a handgun or carbine used for the tests? What was the bullet construction of the ammunition fired--cast, hard casting, copper-plated lead? Same for the shotgun---exact type of ammunition used--#4 shot, 00 buck, 2 3/4, 3 inch, gauge, barrel length, shot placement...? Basically, just simple questions which any engineering genius who is trying to sell a bullet-proof pickup truck should know and be able to explain in detail.

That is not what happened. Instead, Musk comes across as a dumbfound dipshit when speaking of matters of physics and engineering. And Rogan fails to call him out on it. A small number of people have argued that Musk is a stooge frontman.
