For those with IRA or any equity based savings accounts, your portfolio has gone down quite a bit over the past couple of weeks. I suggest you consider moving your holdings out of equities (stock) and into something safer, even cash would be a safer alternative. I believe that the markets will continue to go down and perhaps go down a lot over this weekend (Monday morning surprise) and will continue to go down until a significant change happens. You could easily lose half or more of your savings if you do nothing.
