@johnburke @RobertJohn I am in Canada. My daughter chose a community college over university so that she could work as a cashier and pay her way through school. She also chose a 2-year intensive program to be done sooner, and got her dream job right away out of college. Being frugal and only working minimum wage, she bought her first house (brand new) at age 25, and already has it halfway paid off in 4 years. Many of her friends live at home with their parents still. But it is possible if you put your mind to it!
