This symbol is on a lot of Russian everything, tanks, buildings, cars, even Russian gymnast's uniformss (oh the controversy there). It is often painted in St. George's colors, as St. George's ribbon ~ the ribbon commemorating the veterans of WWII aka "The Great Patriotic War" as it is called in Russia. Some speculate that the "Z" shape is actually two numeral sevens, representing 77 years since Victory Day...
The "Z" is often seen with "#we don't give up on our people".
Whatever it is, it appears to be the symbol of support for Russian Invasion.
