1500 BC in Ancient Denmark
Danites and Zarahites began to arrive in ancient Denmark with more frequency from the Aegean starting in 1500 BC, and the farming and villages grew and expanded for the next thousand years. They came by ship to farm, explore and trade. The Danites called it Dan's place and they that were there considered it to be their homeland. Some of them settled coastline areas and establish sheep and cattle farms from 1500 BC, and they occupied the lighter, sandy loam soils with grasses and upland marshes.
