Near-nationwide outage of Verizon now hitting. Also getting reports that some AT&T phones are locked in "SOS" mode. Someone is taking down the comms infrastructure. A good reminder to always have backup comms. Meanwhile, all ports from Texas, across the entire East Coast will be closed starting tomorrow due to the strike. Until resolved, all inbound shipping transport will go to zero. This is going to get ugly.
