This is one of my best and maybe the best books on food preserving I have owned. I am currently Curing with brine from directions in the book. I never know turnip could be fermented like cabbage but this book has that and more. Saurrueben (sour turnip) is one of many garden crops that can be cured by brining. Chinese cabbage, rutabagas, lettuce - the head type -, green tomatoes and snap beans (string beans) All the necessary info you need on every type of food preserving you will need.
