For a change of pace, some photos from 2012 winter storm Athena, on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. I rented this beach house to do some surf fishing. The fishing was great after the storm. The storm pounded the beach house all night long - those sand bags were brought in and nicely stacked before the storm - they weigh 2000 lbs. each.
