Four months of brake repairs on a 1997 Ford E350. Three sets of defective and otherwise insufficient parts. Many trips to the mechanic. Mechanic said Ford neglected to put hole in one set of brake shoes, the other set -- the adjuster screw didn't turn properly on the shoe, and a set of springs and such had an unsatisfactory spring plus the adjuster lever was thinner than the other, and perhaps another issue or two with the parts. Still issue(s). Had a note to self from a few years ago that I had predicted Ford would stop supplying (appropriate) parts. Anyone else experiencing similar with auto parts -- Ford or otherwise? (This is not about it being old, or the parts simply wouldn't be available... This is about the manufacturer CHANGING the part to make it no longer fit the use, yet selling it with the same part number as before, and things like that.)
People have been reporting new "Global Tax Payable" accounts showing up in their Intuit QuickBooks accounting systems, replacing their Sales Tax Liability accounts, saying that Intuit would not allow them to delete the new Global Tax payable account. I have found the same when working in some of my client's files, including those using QuickBooks Online. A Google search for "Global Tax" brings up World Bank (as the first result). Responses from the publisher on Intuit's community page(s) do not clearly answer the questions many have asked about this, but instead make it look as if they know nothing about what is being asked. Anyone else notice this issue? If we didn't "know better" it would appear that instead of paying sales tax to California, things are in place to pay the United Nations.... though to be fair some people have been seeing this being put in place with the signing over of power to the U.N. Unfortunately this didn't seem to hit the news channels that most people seem to have faith in... Interesting how there is a group of self-selected individuals who are telling you what to do... and putting legalities in place to take your money... and farms, and food, and seeds, and so forth... No worries about being too busy -- you may have less to tend to soon...
If Trump was elected for a 2nd term in 2020, then a 2024 election of Trump would be a third term and therefore illegal and Biden's presidency is illegal because he was not voted in, correct? Therefore, the presidency passes to Johnson (who appears to have been compromised by January 2023) or to the 3rd place 2024 presidential candidate, correct?
DISTILLING WATER WITH TWO BOTTLES: Need two glass bottles with same size mouths. Fill first bottle half full of water (as clean of water as possible, remove visible contaminants, perhaps with white cotton cloth). Bury first bottle in sand. Build small fire on top of sand mound. Sand heats up. Bottle has thermal contact with sand so bottle heats up and heats the water. At mouth of the first bottle, put the mouth of the second bottle, facing opposite direction, so that the mouths are touching, with botle on its side on the ground. Rotate second periodically to keep it cool. Wrap it in wet cloth to keep it cool. Water condenses/drips from top of inside second bottle and collects in bottom of second bottle. But synthetic contaminants including gasoline and perhaps pharmaceuticals evaporate with the water and distill into the second bottle with the distilled water. So use water with as little of the other things that distill as possible. [Sorry I do not recall the source; perhaps the source is Tom Brown, Jr. in one of his survival guides. I have not tried this myself.] Hoping this helps the good people of Asheville to convert storm water to safe drinking and washing water.
