@mhoran1158 Desantis projects out freedom but Fl. is the most Policed State I have ever witnessed. I went down there for a few winters to flee the cold but after 4 trips learned there is way to much LEO. With the longest coast line in the US and the most Federal Land Preserves, LEOs are abundant. Home Land Security also. Everything from HLS to Border Patrol, unmarked detectives driving around, State, city, county and town LEOs. Did I mention National Park Police (Federal) and there is more. I'm not including if you go out onto the water in a boat. Also, I have been looking at properties down there and found that the Zoning Laws are nearly criminal, having so much control over "private" property. Not to mention land is beyond affordable, seeming triple inflated prices. I can't imagine what Banks, Realtors and Lawyers are like - it's all about them as far as property goes. Wolves feeding!
